House League Fall 2026

Registration is now open for the 2026-27 Grimsby Basketball Association House League season!

We are excited to introduce a new chapter for GBA House League basketball.

Earlier this year, we began our partnership with Serious Basketball and Coach Charles Kissi, and the response from players and families has been overwhelmingly positive. The quality of instruction and focus on player development has helped create an outstanding experience, and we are thrilled to continue building on that success.

As we planned for the upcoming season, our Executive asked a simple question: How can we combine elite skill development with the excitement and community of a traditional house league?

The result is a new full-season House League program designed to give players more time to learn, improve, compete, and have fun, while giving families the convenience of knowing their basketball schedule for the entire season.

The 2026-27 House League season will begin on Saturday, September 19 and run through April, with all sessions taking place at West Niagara Secondary School.

While we are still finalizing some aspects of the weekly program, our commitment remains the same: to provide a positive, organized, and development-focused basketball experience for every player.

This is a separate registration from House League (you still click on the house league registration link) and will focus exclusively on advanced skill development with highly trained coaches from Serious Basketball.

Registration Information & Fees

24-week House League Season

Early Bird Registration (until August 31): $399

Registration after August 31: $459

This expanded format provides a full basketball season from September through April. For comparison, our previous program offered 12-week sessions for $249, making the new structure the equivalent of two full seasons under our previous model, while giving families one consistent registration and one season-long schedule.

We are incredibly excited about the direction of our House League program and believe these changes will provide an even better experience for players and families. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the court this September.

Financial Assistance Available

At Grimsby Basketball Association, we believe every child should have the opportunity to play basketball, regardless of a family’s financial situation. We work hard to keep our registration fees as affordable as possible while still providing a high-quality basketball experience for our players.

We understand that families can experience financial challenges, and we do not want the cost of registration to be the reason a child cannot participate. If your family requires financial assistance, please reach out to us and we will do our best to help.

Families can also apply for support through Jumpstart, which provides funding assistance to help children and youth participate in sport and recreation programs.
